The 2098-DSD-010 is an Allen-Bradley 3000 Ultra Digital Servo Drive. This drive is capable of implementing simple standalone indexing drive applications as well as multi-axis integrated motion control. This digital Servo Drive features input voltage of 100-240VAC rms, 1-Phase with frequency of 47-63 Hz. It has a continuous output power of 1kW with Continuous Output Current 5A and Intermittent Output Current of 15A.
The 2098-DSD-010 Digital Servo Drive has Eight selectable general purpose inputs and Four selectable general purpose outputs and relay output. It has One (1) Serial communication port supporting RS232 and RS485 communication standard. It has an embedded support multi-turn absolute encoders and option to supply external logic power which is used to maintain the actuator position when loss of power is experienced.
The Ultra 3000 Digital Servo Drive is not in compliance with the European Union (2011/65/EU) RoHS directive, intended to restrict use of hazardous substances. This drive cannot be shipped and used with application areas that require RoHS compliance.
Other electrical specification of the 2098-DSD-010 includes an AC input current of 9 A, nominal and max inrush current of 100A for Series A and B and 20 A for Series C servo drive. It has a continuous output power of 0.5 kW for 115V ac input and 1.0 kW for 230V ac input. Internal Shunt resistors are not included with this module. It features a high-density female D-sub CN1 44-pin user I/O connector, CN2 15-pin motor feedback connector, and CN3 9-pin serial port connector. Its analog inputs COMMAND is rated 14-bit A/D, ±10V and ILIMIT are rated 10-bit A/D, 0 to 10V. Its analog output has specifications of ±10V, 8 bits, 2 mA maximum. The 2098-DSD-010 features an analog command interface and system integration architecture.
