The Allen Bradley 2098-DSD-030X-DN digital servo drive is engineered for use within the Ultra3000-5000 series. Its design supports single-phase AC input voltage levels between 100 and 240 volts RMS, as well as an input frequency ranging from 47 to 63 Hz. The nominal current draw from the main AC input can reach 28 A rms, with a peak inrush current of 50 A when operating at 230V AC.

For auxiliary power, when connected to a 115V AC source, it uses 1.0 A rms, while at 230V AC, the consumption drops to 0.5 A rms. The continuous output current ratings of the drive stand at 10.6 A rms or 15 A in peak operations. For high-demand situations, it can deliver a peak output current of 21.2 A rms or as much as 30 A in peak scenarios.

The internal shunt system records an on value of 420V DC and an off value of 402V DC, providing insights into system performance under load conditions. The drive also includes a bus capacitance of 2820 µF, assisting in maintaining stable operation during power fluctuations. It is designed to withstand bus overvoltage situations of up to 452V DC, showcasing its capability for robust and efficient performance in various industrial applications.
