The embedded Serial port of this device supports RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 standard with selectable communication rates of 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, and 38400 baud.
This interface has a Peer control feature which provides a server-client type of control between drives when one of the drives acts as the server and another as the client. It can be operated based on the status of a master drive which in turn reduces the overall network traffic. The 2098-DSD-HV030X servo drive provides bus overvoltage protection for 810 Volts DC voltage. The drive is equipped with an RS-232/485 based serial port that is used in communication with variable speed rates ranging from 1200 to 38400 bits per second. The 2098-DSD-HV030X servo drive has the maximum response time for both input and output. The servo drive can only be used in indoor locations. It is not waterproof.
