The 2098-IPD-010 Intelligent Positioning Drive’s front panel provides a logic power and 7 segment status LED indicators for easy monitoring and troubleshooting. It has the 28-pin CN1A for digital I/O and 14-pin CN1B for auxiliary encoder and analog I/O signal connections. The double-row, pluggable, spring-clamp connectors for these are shipped with the drive. The high-density D-shell 9-pin CN3A main serial port and CN3B auxiliary serial port, as well as the 15-pin CN2 motor encoder, require standard connectors. The 2098-IPD-010 Servo Drive has 16 general-purpose digital inputs that can be configured in a group as active low (current sourcing) or active high (current sinking). It has eight general-purpose digital outputs. Seven of these are transistor outputs, and the remaining one is a single relay output with normally open contacts. The transistor outputs have no overload protection.
