The 2098-IPD-030 is an intelligent positioning drive that is part of the Ultra 5000 product family. This drive is paired to an appropriate servo motor and used to an application that requires high positioning accuracy. This drive operates at an AC input voltage range of 100-240Vrms, 1-Phase along an input frequency of 47-63 Hz. This servo drive is classified as a controlgear device. With this, the 2098-IPD-030 must be mounted to an enclosure that meets the requirements laid out by the IEC60529 standard. The enclosure must be located in an even surface with rigid and vertical surface. Shock limiting devices must also be installed and industrial contaminants and particulates must be prevented from entry. The ambient temperature must be controlled and not to exceed 55° C (131° F). Fans and heaters may also be installed to appropriate control the internal climate of the enclosure.
