The 9101-1772 (2098-DSD-010-SE) Ultra 3000 Digital Servo Drive with SERCOS Interface by Allen-Bradley is a digital drive with 1KW output power used for control of high-performance industrial servo motors. It requires an input power supply with 100-240V ACRMS voltage and 9ARMS input current and an input current surge of 100A. It provides 15A (intermittent) output current with 1KW output power and has a BUS capacitance of 1880μF BUS capacitance with 400V DC overvoltage protection. The 9101-1772 lacks auxiliary AC inputs and makes up for this using the 5V auxiliary logic supply. The drive has a maximum energy absorption capability of 51J and is built to dissipate 48W heat when operational. It offers circuit protection using the 230V AC Class CC and Class J busman fuse. The 9101-1772 is built to operate at a temperature range of 0-55 0C (32-131 0F) within a 5-95% non-condensing humidity range and is designed for installation even at a height of 1500m without de-rating. The digital positioning is achieved through the digital PID with feed-forward ability, and motor velocity is regulated through the digital PID with 250-microsecond update rate. The drive has 8 digital inputs, with 4 digital outputs, optically-isolated, and a single (NO) relay output. It has a ±10V analog output with 8 bits resolution and 2mA max output current. It has a 4-bit A/D (analog-to-digital) analog COMMAND input with ±10 input voltage, and a 0-10V DC analog ILIMIT input with 10-bit resolution. It can communicate over the high-speed SERCOS communication network using the fiber-optic SERCOS ring with 4 and 8 Mbit data transmission speed and with 01-99 nodes addresses. The 9101-1772 can also communicate serially using the RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 base communication port using the 9-pin female D-sub serial port connector (CN3).  The drive is CE, and UL-certified, and weighs a total of 2.1kg, with a dimension of 98.1mm x 32.77mm x 65.02mm (3.89in x 1.29in x 2.56in).
