The Allen-Bradley 9101-1924 Servo Drive belongs to the Ultra3000 Series of DeviceNet Indexing Systems that employ the SERCOS interface. It is integrated with the ControlLogix Platform for integrated motion and a driving range of 110-240V AC for the power input. The 9101-1924 will give off a fault indication if the motor overheats and it can monitor a thermostat signal from the motor. The 9101-1924 is available with 500W, 1, 2, 3, 7.5, and 15kW continuous output and 230V AC input power at 47-63Hz. There are options for establishing communication on the go by using the drive’s RS-232 and RS-485 communication ports. The 9101-1924 creates interface via cabling systems that use either round or flat media that provide power and communication, require no network scheduling, and support messaging, produced/consumed data, and distributed I/O. If a device’s hardware circuitry uses a node address set to 63 or lower, you cannot change the node address with the RSNetWorx. The ambient temperature range is 0-50 degrees Celsius. The 9101-1924 must be properly grounded. Failure to ground it correctly may result in potentially fatal voltage in the oscilloscope chassis. Take note of the input voltage because the device may catch a high current during startup and this can be risky to the drive and personnel in the vicinity. When installing the 9101-1924 inside an enclosure, run the input power wiring in a conduit outside of the enclosure. The 9101-1924 has been tested for use in extreme temperatures and adverse working conditions. The drive measures 14.2 x 9.3 x 5.4 inches.
