The Allen-Bradley 9101-1930 drive system belongs to the Ultra3000 SERCOS interface series. This servo drive system works with the FNQ-R-30 and LPJ-30SP fuses with 230V as the input voltage. The maximum power losses for the 9101-1930 are 300+ dissipative shunt and typical heat losses run approximately one half of the maximum power loss. The 9101-1930 weighs 20.6lbs (9.3kg) weight with an ambient temperature ranging from 0-55 degrees Celsius and the storage temperature varies from -40-70 degrees Celsius. It uses a 1326AV servo motor to drive complex operations with ease with 750 FLA peak as the output voltage. You must give a unique address to each drive on the SERCOS system. Any break in the drive disables the SERCOS network and creates a warning on the SERCOS status LED. To avoid signal loss, do not mix glass and plastic cables when connecting to a bulkhead adapter. The 9101-1930 SERCOS interface system provides drive connectivity and control for the ControlLogix controller. Measuring 5.4 by 3.5 by 0.9 inches, it is easy to transport and install in a remote location. It also has easy instructions for different mountings including a DIN rail. If you insert or remove the 9101-1930 system when the backplane power is on, an electric arc can occur and this could cause an explosion in hazardous locations. The connector pinout dedicates separate pins for the RS-232 and RS-485 signals so that the communication standard can be changed just by using another cable. The 9101-1930 system is sensitive to electrostatic discharge, which can cause internal damage and affect normal operations.
