The 9101-1931 by Allen-Bradley belongs to the Ultra3000 Sercos Interface Systems Series. The nominal main AC input current for the 9101-1931 is 46A and the maximum inrush current is 230V at 68A (0-peak). This servo drive system works with only one fuse i.e. the LPJ-60SP fuse with a 230V AC input voltage and the auxiliary input fuse must not exceed 13A. In system drives, the relay output is dedicated as a brake output, where close contacts release a motor brake and there is no overload protection on the transistor outputs. The SERCOS interface system provides SERCOS drive connectivity and control for the ControlLogix controller. The maximum power losses in the 9101-1931 interface are a 500+ dissipative shunt and the typical heat losses run approximately one half the maximum power loss. This ControlLogix SERCOS interface module use fiber optics that are rated with Class 1 IEC LED Safety Classification, while any break in the drive disables the SERCOS network and it creates a warning on the SERCOS status LED that may represent connection interruption. The 9101-1931 system must be properly grounded. Failure to do so may result in potentially fatal voltage in the oscilloscope chassis. If you insert or remove the 9101-1931 when the backplane power is on, an electric arc can occur that could cause an explosion in hazardous locations. The various LED segment displays show the exact result and the status of the product, making work easier for the operator.
The Allen-Bradley 9101-1931 is a strong drive with an Input Voltage (AC) of 230-480V Root Means Square (3-phase), an input frequency (AC) of 47-63 Hertz, and a nominal input current (AC) of 46 Amperes Root Means Square. It also has a healthy 65A (0-peak) Continuous Output Current and 150A (0-peak) Intermittent Output Current, all contained in its convenient 14.2 x 9.49 x 7.44 in dimensions.
