The 9101-2344 (2098-DSD-005-SE) Ultra 3000 Digital Servo Drive with SERCOS Interface by Allen-Bradley is a 0.5KW drive used for a wide variety of motion control applications and mechanical applications requiring either basic or complex motion profiles. The drive has 100-240V AC (single-phase) input voltage with an input current of 5A and it provides 7.5A (intermittent) output current with a capacitance of 1410μF (BUS). It provides 400V DC protection against BUS over voltage BUS and protects it circuitry via the Class CC (FNQ-R-6), and Class J (LPJ-6SP) 230V AC Bussman fuse. The 9101-2344 (2098-DSD-005-SE) has an output power rating of 0.5KW and a maximum energy absorption capability of 38J. The drive communicates using the RS-232/RS-422/RS-485 base serial port with baud rates selectable between 1200 and 38400 baud and it supports the high-speed serial communication network SERCOS using the fiber-optic SERCOS ring with a transfer rate of 4 and 8 Mbit through 01-99 redistribution points (nodes). The drive employs the Incremental, Sine/Cosine, Intelligent, and Absolute encoder types, with 100 kHz (Sine/Cosine Input) and 2.5 MHz (TTL Input) input frequencies, for motor feedback, using the 15-pin high density female D-Sub motor feedback connector. The 9101-2344 (2098-DSD-005-SE) uses the 250V AC, 6A, single-phase (2090-UXLF-106) AC line filter and is not designed with an internal shunt.
