The 9111-0048 (2098-IPD-020-DN) Ultra 5000 Intelligent Positioning Drive with DeviceNet by Allen-Bradley is a high-performance programmable servo drive which uses the digital signal processor for control and positioning. It has an input voltage ranging between 100and 240V AC and 18A (nom) with 100A input current surge and it supplies output ratings of 30A peak output current and a maximum power output of 2000 Watts with 51 Joules absorption capability at 230V AC. The 9111-0048 has a BUS capacitance of 1880 microFarad and provides 400V DC bus overvoltage protection. The drive has 512KB flash memory with 100,000 write cycles and is programmed via the compiled ANSI C subset programming language, in a full-featured color syntax editor and a C compiler integrated with a Ultraware programming environment. The drive has a 32-bit floating point digital signal processor with 60 MegaHertz of internal clock speed and controls the current loop using space vector modulation with 125 microseconds of update time. The drive controls the position loop using digital PI with 500 microseconds of update time and it has a 32-bit signed position range, a 32-bit floating point velocity range, and a 64-bit signed electronic gearing.
