The Allen-Bradley 100S-D420EA22C contactor is a 3-pole AC operated contactor. Its electronic coil is rated for 208 to 277 Volts AC at 60 Hertz and at 50 Hertz. At 60 degrees Celsius, the operating current rating for the 100S-D420EA22C contactor is 420 Amps. At 40 degrees Celsius, the operating current rating of the 100S-D420EA22C contactor is 540 Amps. If the ambient temperature goes up to 70 degrees Celsius, the operating current will reduce to 85% of the rated current value for 60 degrees Celsius. Allen-Bradley recommends installing the 100S-D420EA22C contactor at altitudes of up to 6600 feet or 2000 meters above sea level. At higher altitudes, the contactor performance will derate from the standard rated values. The contactor also features a PLC interface.
