Allen Bradley 156 Contactors

Allen-Bradley 156 solid-state contactors are engineered for robust performance. They are used for controlling electrical circuits in various industrial and commercial applications where reliability and efficiency are paramount. The primary function of the Allen-Bradley 156 contactors is to switch electrical circuits on and off, and these contactors play a crucial role in motor control circuits, lighting systems, and heating applications. They are also suitable for high-duty cycle applications. The 156 contactors also enable the remote operation of electrical devices to manage large-scale electrical systems efficiently. Their reliable operation ensures that electrical circuits are controlled with precision. They reduce system downtime and enhance system performance. The 156 contactors are designed to be flexible, compact, and low-maintenance devices. The Allen-Bradley 156 contactors are designed with several notable features. Some contactors in the 156 series operate with dual voltage, some operate with 3-phase voltage, and some operate with single-phase voltage. Some of the single-phase contactors include an analog control feature and some include a current monitoring feature. The 156 contactors can operate at 230V AC, 400V AC, 480V AC, or 600V AC of nominal voltage with an operating frequency range of 45 to 65 Hertz. All of the 156 contactors support DC or AC/DC control voltage. The single-phase contactors support either 4 to 32V DC or 24 to 275V AC/24 to 48V DC of control voltage. The dual-phase and 3-phase contactors support either 5 to 32V DC or 24 to 275V AC/24 to 190V DC of control voltage. The 156 contactors support 4000V AC (rms) insulation voltage between the input and output and between the output and case. These contactors can be used in environments with Pollution Degree 2 ratings and ambient temperatures between -22 and 158 degrees Fahrenheit. They can be stored in environments with ambient temperatures between -40 and 212 degrees Fahrenheit. The 156 contactors have flame-retardant housings made of PBT and anodized aluminum heatsinks. They can be mounted on electroplated steel DIN rail bases and are designed to be mounted vertically.
