Allen Bradley 847 Encoders

The 847 encoders are incremental optical encoders manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The 847 encoders feature metal code disks and robust mechanical designs that allow them to withstand significant levels of shock and vibration and extreme temperatures. These encoders can operate at -30 to 80 degrees Celsius or -22 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. Additionally, they can be stored at temperatures between -40 and 100 degrees Celsius or -40 and 212 degrees Fahrenheit. The code format for the 847 incremental optical encoders is an incremental 2-channel format with zero index. The 847 encoders can simplify complex applications.
