It manages current ratings spanning from 0.5 A to 40 A, offering adaptability for various electrical installations.

This model features Type C trip curves, which provide dependable performance under standard conditions. In terms of voltage compatibility, the 1489-A supports up to 240V AC for single-pole operations, while 480Y/277V AC is applicable for two or three poles. For direct current applications, it allows 48 VDC for the single pole configuration and 96 VDC across the multi-pole setups.

The circuit breaker is operational at frequencies commencing from a minimum of 50 Hz and maxing out at 60 Hz, accommodating standard residential and commercial power systems. Additionally, it possesses an IP20 rating, ensuring protection against foreign objects greater than 12.5 mm while remaining suitable for indoor applications.
