Bulletin 817Z proximity sensors are inductive sensors with tubular designs. They can detect objects made of steel, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, and copper. Some Bulletin 817Z proximity sensors are shielded, while others are unshielded. Many shielded sensors can be flush-mounted. These sensors are available with diameters of 12, 18, or 30 mm. Bulletin 817Z proximity sensors can be used in stainless steel sheet-welding applications. They can also control the use of mild steel bars in grate-welding applications.
