This low inertia motor by Allen Bradley comes with a rpm rating of 3000 RPM. In addition, this servo motor includes a hall incremental encoder and is equipped with bayonet style servo cable connections that are part of this high quality motor. This MP low inertia AC motor comes w/o braking capability built in. Additionally, this permanent magnet servo motor comes with a shaft key, but no shaft seal installed on the servo to allow for connecting to this motor. This MPL Series AC motor is a 165 millimeter frame size servo.

The MPL-B4530F-HJ22AA servo motor is a low-inertia servo motor from Allen-Bradley. It belongs to the MP series which is a series of drives with features that make it ideal for a wide range of applications. These compact drives can deliver up to 8000 rpm of speed and 18.6 kilowatts of power. MP series motors are UL recognized and CE certified. MP series motors also come with standard IEC metric flanges. The input of the MPL-B4530F-HJ22AA servo motor is designed for 400 Volts AC voltage. The output of the motor is rated at 2.1 kilowatts and 3000 rpm. Other motor characteristics include a 130 millimeters frame size and a 76.2 millimeters (3.0 inches) magnet stack length. For feedback, a 2000 lines per revolution incremental encoder is provided with the servo motor. A connection between the servo motor and an Allen-Bradley Kinetix 7000 or Ultra 3000 drive can be achieved through a circular bayonet connector.

A motor brake is not available on the MPL-B4530F-HJ22AA servo motor. Allen-Bradley provides an optional motor brake kit which is rated at 24 Volts DC, has 90 pounds on an inch of holding torque and a maximum of 37 arc minutes of backlash, and which weighs 20 pounds. A shaft seal is also not available. However, a shaft key is available on the motor. The operating temperature range is from 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. The feedback and power cables for the MPL-B4530F-HJ22AA servo motor are available from Allen-Bradley in standard cable lengths. These cables provide the sealing that is required for higher environmental protection ratings. The users can add their own cables as long as the proper connector kits from Allen-Bradley are used. Details for the proper connector kits can be found in the Allen-Bradley Kinetix Motion Specifications Technical Data manual (publication KNX-TD004).
