The Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation MPM-A2154C-MJ74AA AC rotary servo motor is designed for use with servo drives from the Kinetix drive series. This type of motor is adapted for operation with Kinetix 6000, 6200, and 6500 servo drives. These multi-axis drives are extremely modular and feature an Integrated Motion interface in a Sercos or EtherNet/IP network. Each motor and servo drive of this type is intended for a particular need and the users can choose from a variety of options which suits them best. The MP-Series motor provides superior flexibility through IEC metric dimensions for mounting. The MPM-A2154C-MJ74AA AC servo motor from the Bulletin MPM product line has an input voltage rating of 230 Volts AC, a continuous current of 58.7 Amps and a peak current of 127.3 Amps. In regard to speed performance, the motor features a base speed of 1500 RPM, a motor output speed of 1750 RPM, and a maximum speed of 2000 RPM. The motor has a rated output of 6.50 Kilowatts and rotor inertia of 0.02449 kilograms per square meter. The torque performance of the motor includes a continuous stall torque of 55.0 N-m (487 pounds on an inch) and peak stall torque of 106 N-m (938 pounds on an inch).

In order to simplify the cable routing process, the MPM-A2154C-MJ74AA rotary servo motor features DIN connectors for flexible connector orientation. Other features of this type of motor include absolute feedback functionality through a multi-turn high-resolution encoder, right angle ability, quick connect rotation up to 180 degrees, free mounting holes, but “No Brake”. The motor is enclosed in an IP65 or IP67 protection enclosure and it can operate at temperatures of 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit) and be stored at a temperature range of -30 to 70 degrees Celsius (-22 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit). The MPM-A2154C-MJ74AA motor should be kept in a non-corrosive environment with relative humidity levels at 5 to 95% non-condensing humidity.
