The Allen-Bradley MP-Series Medium-Inertia Servo Motors are optimized to meet the needs of 230 Volts and 460 Volts rated applications with high inertia and heavy loads. They are able to operate with sustained shaft loads and they have a 24-Volt DC holding brake that doubles as an occasional stopping brake. The MPM Servo Motors are available with 115, 130, and 215-millimeter frames featuring 1 to 4-magnet stack lengths. Their base speed ratings are 1300 to 6000 revolutions per minute (RPM). These motors are available with resolver feedback and high-resolution (single and multi-turn) feedback options. The MPM Servo Motors support various mounting orientations and their IP 65 and IP 67 rated housings permit their use in a broad range of industrial environments. Each unit features a shaft key and an IEC mounting flange.
The windings of the Allen-Bradley MPM Servo Motors are optimized to match the ratings of servo drives in the Kinetix 6000, 6200, and 6500 families. The circular DIN connectors of these motors can be rotated up to 180 degrees, thereby allowing for more flexibility in the wiring and system design. The Allen-Bradley MPM Servo Motors share similar power, speed, and size ratings with legacy motors to allow for seamless migration from the 1326AB legacy motors to the newer MPM Servo Motors. Their continuous stall torque ratings vary from 026 to 163 N-m, and their peak stall torque is rated from 0.74 to 278 N-m. The output power of the MPM Servo Motors range from 0.75 to 7.5 kilowatts. An array of field-installable accessories are compatible with these motors to improve their functionality.
