This servo motor comes with a magnetic stack of 4 and it operates with 2250 RPM of base speed. The MPM-B1304E-SJ74AA Medium-Inertia Servo Motor comes with a single turn high-resolution encoder, a 24 Volts DC rated brake, and an IP 65 rated enclosure with an IP 67 rated shaft key. This medium-rotor inertia AC servo motor has a brake option that is a spring-set holding brake. A separate power source is required to disengage the brake unit from the motor.

The MPM-B1304E-SJ74AA Medium-Inertia Servo Motor features an IP 66 rated enclosure, multiple winding speed options, and high energy, rare-earth magnets. It also has a 24 Volts DC brake, a positive air pressure kit, and a single-turn, absolute position motor feedback option. Its single-turn encoder ensures high-resolution absolute position feedback within one turn. The replacement of the shaft seal every 3 months is recommended. Make sure to use the additional seal on the motor shaft near the motor front bearing. The holding brake of the motor is not designed to stop the rotating shaft. It is designed to hold the motor shaft at zero RPM to the rated brake holding torque. This medium–inertia servo motor can be used in high-inertia applications. The MPM-B1304E-SJ74AA Medium-Inertia Servo Motor has drive compatibility with the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 5700 and Kinetix 5500 AC servo motor drives. This servo motor can be used in a wide variety of industrial applications with high inertia such as painting and web handling.
