The Allen-Bradley MPM-B2153E-MJ74AA Industrial Servo Motor is a medium-inertia servo motor that runs on a voltage of 460 Volts and frame size of 215 millimeters or 8.46 inches. The motor is available with a 24 Volts DC brake option, a base operating speed of 1500 revolutions per minute, and 3 magnet stacks. This medium-inertia servo motor features connectors that are SpeedTEC DIN connectors that are 180-degrees-rotatable for fast connection and provide flexible connector orientation. The MPM-B2153E-MJ74AA Servo Motor has absolute feedback from a multi-turn high-resolution encoder and an enclosure with a keyed shaft extension. The motor is installed with a shaft seal that has an International Protection (IP) rating of IP 67 (dust-tight and suitable for one-meter immersion maximum) and IP 65 (immune to water jets and dust-tight).

The Allen-Bradley MPM-B2153E-MJ74AA Medium-Inertia Servo Motor is designed to operate with servo drives such as the Allen-Bradley Kinetix 6500, Kinetix 6200, and Kinetix 6000 drives. The motor can be used in applications such as web handling, printing, automotive, converting applcations, and other applications that need high levels of power. The MPM-B2153E-MJ74AA Medium-Inertia Servo Motor has a storage ambient temperature range between -30 and 70 degrees Celsius (-22 and 158 degrees Fahrenheit) and an operating ambient temperature range from 0 to 40 degrees Celsius (32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit). It requires a non-corrosive storage atmosphere and relative humidity range between 5 and 95 percent, noncondensing. To prolong the life of this motor, install a drip loop in every cable to keep liquids away from the motor connections. To protect the motor from dust and foreign matter, install shields that safeguard the motor junctions, shafts, housing, and seals. Lastly, inspect the motor periodically for excessive wear or damage and replace it if there is any wear or damage.
