VPL-B0753M-PK12AA

The VPL-B0753M-PK12AA is a brushless AC synchronous servo motor from Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation. The servo motor has low-rotor inertia and it uses a digital encoder for feedback. The encoder is responsible for providing the real-time performance of the motor by sending real-time values to the control system. To interface the VPL-B0753M-PK12AA with the drive system, the VPL-B0753M-PK12AA uses a single cable design. The single cable design is meant to keep cabling at a minimum. The VPL-B0753M-PK12AA belongs to the Kinetix VPL family of low-inertia motors. The motor is compatible with the Kinetix 5700 and Kinetix 5500 drives. Additionally, the motor is designed to be used in a variety of applications on the busy industrial floor.

The VPL-B0753M-PK12AA has a smooth shaft and standard factory options. The motor has no braking circuit and no shaft seal. Note that the international protection rating depends on the position the shaft takes during installation and operation.  For example, when the VPL-B0753M-PK12AA is installed with its shaft facing up, it has an IP50 protection rating which only guards against dust, not liquids. When the shaft is facing sideways, the international protection stands at an IP51 protecting the motor against dust and water dripping vertically. The Allen-Bradley VPL-B0753M-PK12AA has a bolt circle diameter of 75 millimeters and it has its voltage class rated at around 400 Volts AC. When installing the VPL-B0753M-PK12AA, pulleys and belts should be well fastened before powering the motor. Take precautions not to hit the motor shaft will hard tools in order to prevent damage to the motor bearings.
