Allen Bradley Y Series

The Y-Series brushless servo motors from Allen-Bradley are designed for machinery control systems. These Y-Series motors need to be used in systems that include transistorized electronic amplifiers. Y-Series servo motors are not designed for direct connections to power supplies or designed to be used with thyristor drives. These motors can operate safely and reliably in standard industrial environments that do not experience abnormal temperatures or excessive moisture. Many Y-Series servo motors operate at maximum speeds of 4500 RPM and feature 8 poles, and some Y-Series servo motors support holding brakes.
