The 1715-C2 is an accessory for the Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation redundant I/O system that comes from the Bulletin 1715 product family. The 1715 redundant I/O platform is extremely easy to use, flexible, and reliable. The users operating the I/O platform do not need to possess programming knowledge and that is one of the main advantages it has in comparison to other I/O platforms on the market. Also, the Allen-Bradley 1715 redundant I/O platform can be used and implemented in an already formed system without the use of additional hardware components. The 1715 product line is built for the most critical applications and it offers simplex (non-redundant) or duplex (redundant) module operation. The modules from the 1715 product line have a conformal coating and they meet standards such as the CEI IEC 60654-4:1987 (Class 1/2/3), ANSI/ISA-S71.04-2013 (Class G1/G2/G3), UL746E and the MIL-1-46058C to ASTM-G21. The cable itself is certified and approved by the GOST_R and ROSTECHNADZOR standards.
