The 1760-L12AWA, as with other Pico controllers, is a small-sized controller that provides simple timing, real-time clock operations, and logic operations. The 1760-L12AWA operates with a line power of between 100 and 240 Volts AC. For the inputs, the 1760-L12AWA supports a voltage range of between 120 and 240 Volts AC. The Pico controller comes with a display and a keyboard for monitoring and feeding instructions. The display also assists in the troubleshooting the system.

The 1760-L12AWA AC Pico controller, as with other AC Pico controllers, has an input on-delay of 66 milliseconds when the frequency is 60 Hertz and 80 milliseconds when the frequency is 50 Hertz. The input off-delay for the 1760-L12AWA ranges between 60 and 80 milliseconds at 60 Hertz and 50 Hertz, respectively. When connecting an expansion module to the 1760-L12AWA, the expansion module inputs should be connected as contacts in the Pico circuit. The rated operational voltage of the relay output is 250 VAC with recommended protection for an output relay of Isolation to Power Supply and Inputs 3. The operating frequency of the relay output includes switching operation of up to 10 million times with switching frequency of 10 Hz.
