* The Allen Bradley 1760-L12AWA-NC has been discontinued by the manufacturer, however we specialize in obsolete parts and can likely still supply surplus and/or refurbished replacement 1760-L12AWA-NC units instead of migration.
The 1760-L12AWA-NC is a PICO controller from Allen-Bradley. This controller is primarily intended for use in micro automation requirements. This controller is a small and compact controller intended for use in simple automation tasks such as valve sequencing, motor controls, and other relay logic applications. The 1760-L12AWA-NC has built-in I/O channels that are composed of Eight (8) 100-240 VAC inputs, and Four (4) relay outputs. These I/O channels can be used for hardwiring of external I/O devices to implement automation. Compatible input devices include pushbuttons, limit switches, relay contacts, and proximity sensors. 24 VDC rate inputs may also be used with the input channels may also be used provided that an external interposing relay circuit is used. Compatible output devices to this Pico controller are pilot lamps, solenoid-actuated devices, relay coils, motor starters, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), control valves, and similar binary operating devices. As the output channels of the 1760-L12AWA-NC are electromechanical relays, these are operable at voltages of 250 VAC / 24 VDC with relay operating frequency of 10 million switching operations at switching frequency of 10 Hz for general-purpose loads; 2 Hz for resistive lamp loads, and 0.5 Hz at inductive loads.
The Allen-Bradley 1760-L12AWA-NC is a Pico Controller which is part of the Allen-Bradley 1760 series of Pico Expansion I/O Modules. It is capable of allowing for extra I/O for the MicroLogix modules. It also has 4 relay outputs and 8 digital inputs. This module can operate on 120-240V AC. This module is very efficient because it gives the users a variety of expansion options. The 1760-L12AWA-NC has functions including counters, an RTC, and logic features. For maximum versatility, this module has both AC and DC capability. Ladder diagrams have been used to program the 1760-L12AWA-NC Pico Controller. The Pico display is the channel through which each programming element is entered. For instance, the user can track the flow of current in the program, select timing relays with different functions, assign 8 up and down counters, connect make and break contacts in series and parallel, display texts with variables, flip-flop relays or latching relays, define outputs as relays, and load, save and protect programs with passwords. It also allows the user to print out programs in ANSI, Pico, or DIN format. The entire system of the 1760-L12AWA-NC Pico controller might malfunction if the potential between the controller and expansion units exceeds the basic location value provided. This module features 2 different cursor types including the flashing cursor and the flashing block cursor. The full block navigation is represented as a flashing block in a circuit diagram with up and down arrows and the cursor is represented with the left/right arrows. The parameter change cursor flashes represent the change position with left/right arrows and also represent the change values with left/right arrows.
