About 1760-L18AWA

The Allen-Bradley 1760-L18AWA controller is a Pico controller from the Allen-Bradley 1760 series of industrial controllers. It is rated for 120 to 240 Volts AC voltage. It connects to other devices through its 12 inputs that are rated at 100 to 240 Volts AC and through its 6 relay outputs. The 1760-L18AWA Pico controller’s line power range is from 100 to 240 Volts AC. This controller is not analog. It has a real time that will timestamp important data in operation and application processes. The 1760-L18AWA controller also has a display screen and a keypad that the users can use to control the device. It can operate at a frequency of 50 to 60 Hertz.

The Allen-Bradley 1760-L18AWA Pico controller’s inputs will experience AC voltage signal delays, and the length of the delay depends on the frequency of the signal. The on-delay time is 66 milliseconds at 60 Hertz and 80 milliseconds at 50 Hertz. The off-delay times at these frequency levels are the same. There is a delay setting that can be switched on to detect half waves in the input terminals. The controller will check for these half waves every 33 milliseconds, and if it finds 2 in a row, then it will internally switch on the corresponding input. If the 1760-L18AWA controller does not detect 2 half waves in a row, it will switch off the input. This controller consumes about 10 VA of power at both 115 to 120 Volts AC and at 230 to 240 Volts AC. Its outputs are electrically isolated, but its power supply and inputs are not.
