The 803-A24RH Rotating Cam Limit Switch is a control circuit switch by Allen-Bradley that is used for the control of heavy-duty machinery with repetitive operations. The device is suitable for applications where the process moves directly corresponds to the shaft rotation, and like every cam limit switches in the Allen-Bradley 803 series, the 803-A24RH utilizes cams mounted on a shaft. The 803-A24RH is a Style A Cam switch, which comes with a 25 A N.C. contact, with a 150A/15A contact MAKE/BREAK amperage at 120 Volts AC, and a 30A/3A MAKE/BREAK current at 600 Volts AC.  It also has an approximate 1800 Volts AC MAKE BREAK contact power rating and a DC voltage range of 230 to 250 Volts DC. The device has 2 circuits, with a cam-opened contact and a spring-loaded cam-roller, and it has both lower and higher cam segments. The 803-A24RH comes with a rotating shaft, with 150 RPM base speed, and it comes with a keyway slot, for connecting the rotating shaft to machines.

The device has angular-degree measured timing, which is a direct measure of the position of the position of the cam on the shaft, and its selectable dwell time is determined by the position of the cam segments. The 803-A24RH’s cam duration time is between 14 and 346 degrees, with a dwell time (both minimum and maximum) corresponding to the size of the valley and lobe of the cam, and the device comes with a right-hand shaft extension modification, in addition to its regular left-hand shaft extension. The 803-A24RH is built for operation at a temperature range of 30-66 degrees Celsius (-22-150 6 degrees Celsius), around 5-95% non-condensing humidity, and it can be stored at a temperature of -30-93 C (-22-200 6 degrees Celsius). It weighs around 20 kilograms (9.1 pounds), with dimensions of 111.1 millimeters x 144.5 millimeters x 200 millimeters (4.38 inches x 5.69 inches x 7.88 inches), and it is UL and CSA certified.
