The Allen-Bradley 803-A44RA is a Rotating Cam Limit Switch from the 803 series. This device is often used for mechanisms made for heavy-duty handlings, such as heavy metals steel forming, mechanical presses, assembly machines, rotating tables, and other applications in which repeating control signals are present at strictly defined mechanical positions. When movement is expressed through its shaft rotation, the 803-A44RA rotating cam limit switch actuates its contacts (normally open or normally closed).
