The Allen-Bradley 803-A64RH is a Style A rotating cam limit switch with 6 circuits and a right-hand shaft extension installed. It comes with a spring-loaded cam-roller assembly which is mounted to the cam switch’s contact base and which has adjustable internal dwell time and timing settings, which the user can only configure when the rotating cam limit switch is completely stopped. The 803-A64RH cam switch also has features standard to all Style A switches, which include a 150 RPM maximum shaft speed, 25 Amp. N. C. or normally closed double break contacts and a 14 degree minimum of a 346-degree maximum cam duration. With a long operating life expectancy, you can use this switch for heavy-duty operations and machines that have operation cycles that are repetitive and cycles where the shaft rotation correlates with the general machine’s motion. If mounted and used properly, the 803-A64RH will need little maintenance.

Weighing approximately 13.2 kilograms or 29 pounds, the 803-A64RH rotating cam limit switch has enclosure ratings of Type 4 and Type 13. The users can also mount this switch at any plane or angle without affecting its rotation, which works equally well in either a clockwise or a counterclockwise direction. The typical shaft torques of this switch are 7 pounds on an inch when the cam roller rides up the cam ramp, 3  pounds on an inch when the cam roller rides on the lobe (the highest position), and 0.5 pounds on an inch with the cam roller in the valley (the lowest position). Its storage temperature range is -30 to 93 degrees Celsius and its operating temperature range is 30 to 66 degrees Celsius.
