The 803-B10 is a Bulletin 803 Rotating Cam Limit Switch, manufactured by Allen-Bradley, is coupled with industrial machines to detect the movement of rotating machinery by actuating control contacts at various angles of the machine's repetitive cycle. This device actuates 25A break contacts by using cam assemblies attached to a rotating shaft. The 803-B10 rotating cam limit switch is engineered for rugged applications, such as steel forming, waterway gates, construction and packing machines. It is made of quality materials and requires very little maintenance when properly installed. The shaft on this rotating limit switch and its cam operators can rotate in either a clockwise or in a counterclockwise direction, and you can position it in any plane. The 803-B10 rotating cam limit switch comes in a “Style P”, type 1 NEMA rated housing.

This robust device is equipped with ten independent cam-roller assemblies. They rotate along with the shaft and at user-defined angular positions and actuate 25A break contacts. Each cam can be independently attuned without disturbing the other control circuits. The adjustment is conducted internally (the cover must be removed from the device). The device comes with shaft extension on the left-hand side. The 803-B10 has approximate dimensions of 181.0 x 138.1 x 445.2 millimeters (7.13 x 5.44 x 17.54 inches), and its shipping weight is 16.3 kilograms (36 pounds). The minimum working ambient temperature is -30 degrees Celsius (-22 degrees Fahrenheit), and the maximum is 66 degrees Celsius (150 degrees Fahrenheit). Rockwell Automation announced the discontinuation of this product as of October 31, 2007.
