The 803-B24W switch is a rotating cam limit switch that has been designed by Allen-Bradley and included in the 803 switch series. This unit consists of electromechanical equipment that contains an input shaft, a signal transmitter, a gear reducer, and several safety switches. Its main purpose is to work as a safety interlock for stopping certain activities or counting different objects that need to pass a certain point of the process. The Allen-Bradley 803-B24W rotating cam limit switch is a Style B cam switch and it comes with a NEMA Type 1 enclosure. With this kind of enclosure, the cam switch will not be able to be installed in hazardous locations. This enclosure covers all the parts of the switch, preventing dust and small solid particles from entering into it. This enclosure does not protect the switch from corrosive materials or liquids.
