The 803-B34 product is an Allen Bradley product. The 803-B34 represents a Rotating Cam Limit Switch that is from the Bulletin 803 series and is a  Style “B” switch, among a variety of other types. These Rotating Cam Limit Switches are used for many purposes, including assembly and packing machines, injection molding machines, and waterway gate applications, to name a few. Various lock operations also require this product. The 803-B34 product is also used for steel forming and heavy metal operations. These Style “B” Allen Bradley products are Type 1 and 4/13 enclosures, with 10 Ampere snap action contacts that are single pole double throw. These Type 4/13 enclosures are watertight, dust-tight, and oil-tight industrial-grade enclosures with three circuits. The 803-B34 is a heavy duty control circuit device. These are used with types of machinery that have a repetitive cycle of operation. During the shaft rotation, the 803-B34 initiates contact actuation at various positions. Various modifications and changes are possible in most of the applications.

The 803-B34 has 2 to 12 independent cam operators with cam opened contact assembly or snap action contact block assembly. The 803-B34 maintains a shaft speed of maximum 150 RPM. With a left shaft extension standard, the 803-B34 retains cam duration between 14 and 346 degrees. This 803-B34 module in Style “B” has internal dwell and timing adjustments. If ordering this device with a double shaft extension, the cam sequence starts from the left. An external adjustment sprocket is available for the 803-B34 product for factory modifications.
