Operating as a Style B rotating cam switch, the Allen-Bradley 803-B64RH industrial cam is built to fit inside Type 4 and Type 13 enclosures. It has 6 circuits and optional snap action contacts, 1 of which is N.O. (Normally Open) and 1 of which is N.C (Normally Closed). The 803-B64RH cam switch can use the right-hand extension mounting style while its left-hand shaft extension is the standard. Its design is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use whereas is tech specifications maintain the high standard expected of most rotating cam switch. The 803-B64RH is available as a NEMA type 1 cam and it measures 4.375 inches. On both of its ends, there is an optional external adjustment with 1.25-inch pipe taps.

From a physical perspective, the 803-B64R Style B rotating cam switch has a deep side groove for a TruArc retaining ring and a Dia shaft extension that is located on the groove’s doorway with Dia mitigating holes at its back. There is a woodruff keyway as well as a 0.1875 inch wide by a 0.09375-inch deep keyway. There is no internal adjustable feature available when it uses its standard left-hand extension. As for the adjustable degrees of dwell time, when its N.C contact opens and its N.O contact closes, the dwell time is 105 to 186 degrees, and when the N.C contact remains closed, the dwell time is 174 to 255 degrees.
