The Allen-Bradley 803-B6RHR is a Style B rotating cam limit switch that features a right-hand shaft extension, a speed reducer with a gear ratio of 60:1, and 6 circuits. This switch comes with internal dwell time and timing settings that are only adjustable when the device is not moving. The cam switch also has a spring-loaded cam-roller assembly that is already mounted to the cam switch’s contact base. The 803-B6RHR switch is also a Style B switch that features 10 Amp. snap action N. O. (normally open) and N. C. (normally closed) contacts, a cam duration of a minimum of 14 degrees and a maximum of 346 degrees, and a maximum shaft speed of 150 RPM, which is standard for all Style B switches. Manufacturers can use the 803-B6RHR switch for heavy-duty applications and for machines with repetitive operation cycles (with correlated shaft rotation and machine motion) without sacrificing its longevity because it has a long life expectancy.

Also available with the 803-B6RHR rotating cam limit switch are typical shaft torques of 0.5 pounds on an inch with the cam roller in the valley, 7  pounds on an inch when the cam roller rides up on the cam ramp, and 3 pounds on an inch when the cam roller rides on the lobe. It also has a non-operating temperature range of -30 to 93 degrees Celsius and an operating temperature range of -30 to 66 degrees Celsius. This switch weighs approximately 31 pounds or 14.1 kilograms. Note that the 803-B6RHR is a Type 1 switch that is mountable on any plane and has the capacity to rotate well in either a clockwise or counterclockwise direction.
