The Allen-Bradley 803-F1212T rotating cam limit switch features 12 circuits and internally adjustable cams substituted for all regular cams. The cams of this switch are mounted at the 12th position on the 803-F1212T, starting from the opposite side of the shaft extension. It is a heavy-duty switch that is typically used for machines whose operation cycles are repetitive and correlated to the switch’s shaft rotation. The 803-F1212T Style F switch comes with a minimum cam duration of 12 degrees and a maximum duration of 348 degrees, a 150 RPM maximum shaft speed, 10 Amp. snap action contacts, 1 of which is N. O. (normally open) and 1 of which is N. C. (normally closed), and a Type 1 and 13 enclosure. It also has external dwell and timing settings that the user can configure by using a screwdriver while the device is in motion. The 803-F1212T also has a spring-loaded cam-roller assembly that is mounted to the contact base. This switch also has a long product life and it can be mounted on any plane without affecting its ability to rotate clockwise and counterclockwise.

The approximate dimensions of the 803-F1212T switch are 17.56 x 15.31 x 7.66 inches, and it has a weight of 9.1 kilograms or 20 pounds. Its operating temperature range is from -30 to 66 degrees Celsius, while its non-operating temperature range is from -30 to 93 degrees Celsius. The 803-F1212T switch also has typical shaft torques of 0.5 pounds on and inch with the cam roller in the lowest position or the valley, of 3 pounds on and inch when the cam roller rides on the lobe or the highest position, and 7 pounds on and inch when the cam roller rides up the cam ramp.
