The Allen-Bradley 803-F412X is a rotating cam limit switch from the Bulletin 803 family of limit switches. Rotating cam limit switches are capable of sensing the movement of rotating shafts and they initiate functions at different points on the machine’s repetitive cycle. The 803-F412X’s cams are mounted on a shaft and they actuate the contacts as the shaft rotates. Applications suitable for 803 Series switches include punch presses, packing machines, injection molding machines, and steel or metal forming.
