The Allen-Bradley 803-F512RH is a Rotating Cam Limit Switch from the 803 series.  As the bond in an electrical control circuit, this condition sensing device supplies control intelligence to automatically sequenced equipment. In terms of accuracy and repeatability, it provides great control support to machines that require a repetitive cycle of operation, such as bottling, injection molding, steel forming, and packing machines. The 803-F512RH rotating cam limit switch basically works on a principle of actuating contacts by way of cam operators mounted on a rotating shaft. The rotating shaft is coupled with the machine whose movement needs to be tracked and controlled. This product is highly flexible when it comes to mounting, with its design allowing installation at any angle. It can also operate by rotating in either direction. The 803-F512RH is a heavy-duty industrial switch equipped with five separate switching circuits. Each control circuit and its actuation can be adjusted independently without affecting the other circuits.

This rotating cam limit switch provides externally adjustable timing and dwell parameters. These parameters are settable by using only a screwdriver, and there is no need to stop the machine to make the adjustments. The 803-F512RH has shaft extension that comes to the right. The 803-F512RH has dimensions of 177.8 x 82.6 x 312.7 millimeters (7.00 x 3.25 x 12.31 inches), and its shipping weight is approximately 13 pounds (5.9 kilograms). It is designed to operate in a temperature range around -22 to 150 degrees Fahrenheit (-30 to 66 degrees Celsius). The 803-F512RH production was discontinued in 2007.
