The Allen-Bradley 803-P2W current converter module is designed to be used in conjunction with other modular motor protection systems to offer higher performance resolutions. This product is designed to be used in the protection and management of 3-phase industrial motors by monitoring the motor current, the motor’s line voltage, and the motor’s overall temperature. The 803-P2W comes with a working CSA/UL rated voltage of 600 Volts AC which is optional, and an IEC rated voltage of 690 Volts AC at a 50 to 60 Hertz ± 3 Hertz rated occurrence range. Additionally, the device comes with a functional power current that ranges from 2.5A to 20A, with a continuous thermal current and a saturation current of 24A and 240A respectively. It is designed with a converter rated impulse strength of 6kV, also at a 50 to 60 Hertz ± 3 Hertz frequency range.
On the other hand, the 803-P2W works on a functional temperature range of -20 to 60 degrees Celsius (-4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit), at a 5 to 95% ambient non-condensing relative humidity level. In addition, it is made up of a non-operational temperature limit of -40 to 85 degrees Celsius (-40 to 185 degrees Fahrenheit), and the device can operate without derating at an altitude as high as 2000 meters. It is also designed with an IP65/IP20 rated enclosure. The Allen-Bradley 803-P2W is IEC tested and rated to withstand a 25 to 40 degree Celsius damp heat rating for up to 21 cycles. It comes with a maximum operating shock and vibration bear up of 30G for a time duration of 18 milliseconds. Additionally, it comes with high-quality specifications that help it resist a maximum vibration of 3G at a frequency of 10 to 150 Hertz.
