The 803-P8 devices function with 2 to 12 independent cam operators, all of which feature the 25 Amperes N.C double break contact configuration. Ensuring a maximum rotating shaft speed of around 400 RPM, the Style "P" 803-P8 device is expected to offer a higher level of efficiency. These come in a Type 1 enclosure and are usually available with cams or even without cams. The cam duration offered by the 803-P8 device is the minimum value of 11-degrees and the maximum value of 349-degrees. In case of the Style "P" 803-P8 device, the right shaft extension has been made standard. Style "P" devices of the Bulletin 803 rotating cam limit switch series come with internal dwell & timing adjustments. The internal forms of dwell & timing adjustments can be set when the device is not under any movement. In order to make the desired adjustments of the device, open the cover and loosen the cam bolts. After this, rotate the cams to the required position of operation. When the cams have been placed in the desired rotating position, tighten the cam bolts and put the device cover back to continue using the switch.
