The 803-P8W Rotating Cam Limit Switch with an External Adjustment Sprocket Option is a heavy-duty control circuit device from Allen-Bradley. It is used with industrial machinery with dedicated operation cycles, in operations where the machine motion correlates with the shaft rotation. The 803-P8W is a device in the Style P series, and it operates using shaft mounted cams, and these cams produce contact actuation as the shaft rotates. The switch has internal dwell and timing settings, which determine the operation of machines, and it comes with an external adjustment sprocket which provides a means of changing relative between the driving mechanism and the rotating shaft.
