The Allen-Bradley 803-P8WX is a Style P rotating cam limit switch equipped with 8 circuits, a double shaft extension, and an external adjustment sprocket. This sprocket allows the user to change the relative position between the shaft and the driving mechanism. Also present on the 803-P8WX heavy-duty switch is a spring-loaded cam-roller assembly which is mounted to the contact base and a Type 1 enclosure for protection. This Style P switch has the standard 25 Amp. N. C. or normally closed double break contacts, a maximum shaft speed of 400 RPM, and a cam duration that ranges from 11 degrees minimum to 349 degrees maximum and it is capable of rotating equally well in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. The 803-P8WX also has an adjustable internal dwell setting and timing settings that the users can configure, but only when the device is completely stopped. This cam switch can be mounted on any plane for maximum flexibility.
