The 803-PL2 Rotating Cam Limit Switch from Allen-Bradley is a heavy-duty control circuit device with an operator-less cam option that is used for control of heavy-duty industrial machines that have dedicated operation cycles, and for control of industrial applications where their motion corresponds to shaft motion. The device makes use of a shaft-mounted cam, which provides circuit actuation while the shaft rotates, and it is suitable for machine packaging/assembly, steel forming, and injection molding operations. The 803-PL2 comes with 2 circuits with 2 cams opened contacts, a spring-loaded cam-roller, a 150 RPM rotating shaft that over-sized ball bearings, and 2 cam assemblies that have adjustable segments.
