803-PL2LH

The 803-PL2LH switch is a rotating cam limit switch with a shaft extension that has been manufactured and distributed by Allen-Bradley. This switch includes a shaft on the right side of its structure and as a modification, it also comes with a shaft extension on the left side. This modification makes it eligible to operate in certain specialized applications that require this modification. The Allen-Bradley 803-PL2LH rotating cam limit switch with a shaft extension can be selected with or without cams. Although this specific model comes with room for 2 cams, it does not include cam kits by default. Cam kits can be ordered by specifying the angles of rotation, the shaft extensions, and the style of the switch, which in this case is Style P.

The Allen-Bradley 803-PL2LH rotating cam limit switch can be mounted in any plane and it can still rotate in either direction. It has been designed for heavy-duty operation and it comes with an enclosure that prevents external particles from entering the switch and at the same time protects each connection of the switch.  It is recommended to install the switch in a location where liquids and moisture are absent. This is recommended to avoid ice forming on the switch during periods of low temperatures, which means that the recommended temperature range is from -30 to 60 degrees Celsius. The maximum shaft speed of the Allen-Bradley 803-PL2LH rotating cam limit switch is 400 RPM and some of the recommended applications for this device are assembly machines, waterway gates, punch presses, and injection-molding machine applications.
