803-PL7X

The Allen Bradley Rotating Cam Limit Switch 803-PL7X is designed to detect the movement of machinery as it rotates by inducing functions at selected stages in the repetitive cycle of a machine.  With its family of heavy-duty Allen Bradley control circuit devices, the 803-PL7X can open and close connection points (contacts) at multiple angles of a machine’s shaft rotation. The 803-PL7X is a part of the Style P Series and features 7 circuits, a Type 1 enclosure, operator-less cams (Cams can be ordered separately as cam kits which include the mounting hardware 2 to 12 independent cam operators), a cam duration that, when installed, ranges from 11 degrees minimum to 349 degrees maximum, a 25 Amp N.C. double break contact with a maximum shaft speed of 400 RPM, and a standard right shaft extension.  By modification, the 803-PL7X comes with a double shaft extension.  It also has dwell adjustments and internal timings that are adjustable in the field by end-users.

Useful in a variety of sturdy applications, the 803-PL7X can be applied in machines used for assembling and packaging, at punch presses, in machines for injection molding, in steel and other heavy metals forming and rolling presses, and in waterway gate or lock operations.  When properly applied, the device requires minimal maintenance because of its high-quality construction. This module’s ambient operating temperature range is -22 degrees Fahrenheit to 150 degrees Fahrenheit (-30 degrees Celsius to 66 degrees Celsius).
