This module is specifically part of the CompactLogix 5380 Programmable Automation Controller (PAC) series and specifically made compatible with a variety of Controllers such as 5069-L306ER, 5069-L306ERM, 5069-L310ER, 5069-L310ERM, 5069- L310ER-NSE, 5069-L310ERS2, 5069-L320ERM, 5069-L330ER, 5069- L330ERM, and 5069-L340ER. The module’s MOD power is 75 mA @ 18-32V DC while the MOD Power passthrough is 9.55 A @ 18…32V DC. It has an output current of 8.0 per module with an SA Passthrough that is typical to the MOD Passthrough rating. Appropriate wire size for use when terminating field devices to the output channels of this module should be 0.5…1.5 mm2 or 22-16 AWG solid or stranded copper wire with insulation rating of 105 Degree Celsius or 221 Degree Fahrenheit or higher with maximum diameter of 3.55 mm or 0.14 inch including the wire insulation when used with 5069-RTB18-SCREW terminal block. When used with the Spring type terminals, the same wire characteristics may be used except that the maximum wire diameter is smaller, specifically, 2.99 m or 0.11 in. On both type of terminal blocks, only a single wire connection is permitted.
