5069-OF4

The Allen-Bradley 5069-OF4 is an analog output module from the Compact 500 I/O product family. This module is part of the more modern Compact I/O product family as this module is made with direct compatibility with the CompactLogix 5380 and Compact GuardLogix 5380 controllers. Additionally, it may act as distributed I/O component of CompactLogix 5380, Compact GuardLogix 5380 controllers, and other Logix 5000 controllers.

This module features Four (4) analog or voltage output channels that specifically supports ±10V; 0-10V and 0-5VDC Voltage signals and 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA Current signals. This module has resolution of 16-bits using R-Ladder DAC, monotonicity with no missing codes, conversion method. It has a conversion time of 25 µs per channel and scan time of 1.0 ms. This module has integrated Open circuit detection and Short circuit detection.

The 5069-OF4 is factory calibrated, however, users may calibrate this module as needed. It has Four (4) LED I/O status indicators and One (1) module status indicator. It has a slot width of 1 module and dimensions of 144.57 x 22 x 105.42 mm (5.69 x 0.87 x 4.15 in.). This analog output module is DIN rail mounted with compatible DIN rail is Compatible zinc-plated chromate-passivated steel DIN rail or EN50022 - 35 x 7.5 mm (1.38 x 0.30 in.) DIN rail. This module requires use of a separately purchased Removable Terminal Block (RTB) where RTB options include 5069-RTB18-SPRING RTB and 5069-RTB18-SCREW RTB.

The output voltage ranges are +/- 10V, 0-10V, and 0-5V, while the output current ranges are 0-20 mA and 4-20 mA. Its module power bus (MOD power) passthrough voltage range and the normal voltage range are both 18-32V DC, its maximum current rating is 9.55 A, and its maximum current is 75 mA. The 5069-OF4’s Sensor Actuator (SA) power bus passthrough voltage range and its field power voltage range are both 18-32V DC, the maximum field power current is 150 mA, and the maximum current rating is 9.95 A. Its maximum power dissipation is 3.3W and its maximum thermal dissipation is 11.3 BTU/hr. The resolutions of the 5069-OF4 module are 16 bits across ± 10.5V - 320 µV/bit, 16 bits across 10.5V - 160 µV/bit, 16 bits across 5.25V - 80 µV/bit, and 16 bits across 21 mA - 320 nA/bit. It also has drive capabilities of a minimum of 1000 ? for the voltage and a maximum of 500 ? for the current. At current mode, it has a 1 mH maximum inductive load and a 1 mH maximum capacitive load at voltage mode. The maximum overvoltage protection of the 5069-OF4 is 32V DC. Present on this drive is 1 green and red module status indicator light and 4 yellow and red I/O status indicator lights. Note that this module comes factory calibrated with an open type enclosure.
