The Allen-Bradley 1756-OC8 module is a ControlLogix DC output module that has 8 points available, with 4 points in a group. It is a module that has not been fused so it is recommended to use a fused IFM to protect the outputs. The recommended fuse for the 1756-OC8 module is the 5x20mm 4A quick acting fuse supplied by the SOC p/n MQ2-4A. Note that the chassis and power supply must be installed and grounded first before installing the module into any available slot in the chassis. Also, a removable terminal block housing, or RTB, must be connected to the module when installing it to the chassis. For the 1756-OC8 module, the compatible 20-pin RTBs are the 1756-TBNH and the 1756-TBSH.
