The Allen-Bradley 5094-OB16S module comes with 16 available output channels that are placed in one group of sixteen. This Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation module from the FLEX 5000 series has an output voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC and a backplane power (BP) voltage rating of 15 Volts DC. The backplane power (BP) current rating can be a maximum of 100 milliAmps while the maximum sensor-actuator power (SA) current rating is 8.2 Amps. In addition to that, the sensor actuator power (SA) voltage range is also from 18 to 32 Volts DC. The 5094-OB16S module has 250 Volts of continuous isolation voltage for the basic insulation type and system to fields, and it does not include isolation between the SA power and output ports or between individual output ports.

The 5094-OB16S module has dedicated green and red status/SA power status indicators and 16 special yellow/red status indicators for I/O status. The module has an open-style enclosure and as such it does not have an enclosure rating. The 5094-OB16S module has a maximum power dissipation rating of 3.5 Watts and a maximum thermal dissipation of 11.94 BTU per hour.
