The safety module known as the 5094-OB16SXT safety module is made by Allen-Bradley/Rockwell Automation and it is available through the FLEX 5000 product series. This reliable component is c-UL-us certified, CE marked and made in accordance with other standards such as the Ex, IECEx, and the TUV standards. The 5094-OB16SXT safety module is classified according to the ISA S71.04 G3 standard for corrosion resistance and it complies with the IEC 61000-6-4 standards for emissions. The 5094-OB16SXT safety module has a specified on-state voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC and a maximum on-state voltage drop of 0.5 Volts at 0.5 Amps of current. In addition to that, the minimum on-state current per channel is 10 milliAmps.

The 5094-OB16SXT module also has a maximum off-state voltage of 5 Volts DC and maximum off-state leakage current per period of 0.5 milliAmps. The outputs of the module include 16 channels (sourcing) and the module has an output voltage range of 18 to 32 Volts DC.
